Dolce Vita Pali

Pleather, leather, or whatever material they are made of, these Dolce Vita wedges are the ideal "casual" wedge. They aren't too fancy-shmancy that are restricted only for special occasions, and they aren't the 5 inch heels you need to elongate your legs for clubbing.
They simply look best with a pair of skinny jeans paired with virtually anything you wear on top.

a bit dusty from not wearing them for ~5 mo.

Steve Madden Troopa

I got these Steve Madden Troopa 1.5 years ago as my 20th birthday present from my bestfriend. Since then, I wore these like crazyyy. For the amount I wore them they are in considerably great condition.
They were black when I first got them, but after some wear and tear they turned a little brown?
I think I like them even more now that they are distressed; lace-ups boots look better that way.

Wildfox Couture

Wildfox, why are you so expensive?

Wildfox carries vintage looking, soft and oversized sweatshirts with cute prints on the front. These sweatshirts go for $108.00/ea. Some exclusive ones are $200+
I typically wouldn't spend that much on a "sweatshirt," but I this particular one I just had to get.

sleeves rolled up

This is probably the only graphic shirt from my entire wardrobe. Idk, makes feel pretty cool every time I wear it har har har

UGG Dakota

My boyfriend got me these UGG moccasins as a gift 2 Christmases ago. I love them. They are so comfortable, and the fur inside is still nice and fuzzy even after a year + few months of wear.
These are in the color pewter btw.

Yesterday, my boyfriend and I did about 5 loads of laundry. While we were folding our freshly dried clothes, we found a baby's shirt that got into our bundle, probably left behind from a stranger who used the dryer before us.
I thought it be perfect for my dog!

It is kinda loose around the waist area, but he looks so adore! The shirt is patched with some cartoon animal, and sky blue is such a good color on him :)

TOMS Cordones

I used to be a huge Toms fanatic, and owned up to 6 pairs (I have 5 now because I gave one to my sister). At a point in time, I realized I should start buying other variety of shoes, and stopped widening my collection. I still think Toms are super comfortable and cute; to me they are the best casual shoes.

Out of all the different styles of TOMS I own, cordones is by far my favorite. It kinda has an oxford feel to it and looks much more refined than the canvas style. They come with laces but I prefer wearing them without the laces. Unlike the original canvas, the cordones is made with much nicer and long-lasting material. Therefore, they are pricer, selling at $69 as opposed to $43 for canvas, but you won't regret dishing out a little more for quality.
This is my very first pair of Toms. I've had them for over 2 years and worn them a countless number of times, yet they are still in pretty shape. *Round of applause*

2nd pair of cordones I got around 6 months ago. These go with virtually everything

Clif Bar: White Chocolate Macadamia Nut

These Clif Bars are delicious!! I've tried other flavors like peanut butter (YUCK) and chocolate almond fudge, but they don't compare to white chocolate macadamia nut.
They were on sale at Ralphs for $1/ea, so I bought close to a box worth and even took a box :)
They are 250 calories per bar, which I don't think is much compared to calories in cookies, cupcakes, chips, donuts, other junk we eat on a normal base. It is rather a healthier alternative to junk food.

I'm eating one as we speak!

I'm all for quality over quantity. I'd rather spend a little more on something that's made with nicer material than cheap out. When it comes to bags on the other hand, the price for top quality skyrockets (most of my dream handbags range from $800-$2000)
After I graduate and find a stable career, I will be able to afford Balenciaga, Chanel, Hermes, Celine, Prada, etc. Until then, there are alternatives.

Recently H&M has been coming out with trendy, good quality, and most importantly, affordable bags.

$24.95 + tax.
My boyfriend got this for me. It's very cute. I use it mostly as a school bag cause it fits everything I need: notebook, folder, wallet, water bottle, snacks, etc..

also $24.95 + tax
My mom bought this bag for me couple days ago as a little Valentines Day present :) We live separately so I don't have it with me at this moment. Basically I discovered this bag on, and told my sister to get it for me the next time she goes to H&M cause I couldn't find it at my local store. My mom and my sister went to the the mall the other day and found this bag, so my lovely mother decided to get it for me. I really adore the simplicity of this bag- must go pick it up soon!

Clarks Desert Boots

Word of advice: Clarks run HUGE

Over the summer I was at Glendale Galleria mall, which happened to have a Clarks store. I wanted Clarks for awhile, but was iffy about the sizing. I went in and tried on the women's 6, the smallest size, and it ran a size and a half too big..
I still wanted them so I resorted to kid sizes=
Size 4: too big
Size 3.5: still too big
Size 3: meh, okay, but still kinda roomy
Size 2.5: PERFECT
Size 2: snug

So yes, I was a true pain in the ass customer who tried on like 10 pairs. I ended up leaving the store with these taupe, 2.5 sized desert boots, and the rest is history.

The comfiest sole!

Awesome quality, and they were actually cheaper since they were from the kids' section.
Hmm..maybe I'll wear these tomorrow :)

Hunter Rain boots

Why yes I live in Southern California where we are facing a drought.. 2 pairs of rain boots, let alone 1 might not be necessary. Too bad I just like them too much :)

I'm really short, only 5'3, and Hunters are some long boots. I was afraid that they might look too overwhelming on me, but to my surprise, they hit right below my knees. Super cute and stylish look for a rainy day- or even nice to wear while washing your car (which I've only done once hehe)

I check the weather everyday, and my forecast is telling me that it's going to rain on Tuesday. The only two things I like about rain is its sound, and how I get to wear my Hunters weeee!

I ordered the navy from over a year ago, then the green from Nordstroms. They hardly go on sale so if you EVER see them on sale, don't even hesitate.

Got a bit dusty from the drought
Scuff marks give them more of a worn look which I personally like. All you need is water and soap to clean them I believe.

Cute buckles

My only problem with them is that they're really heavy. If I walk around in them for some time, my legs will get tired easily. Me being out of shape doesn't help..

P.S. I don't like the glossy style because it's just too glossy for me. Matte all the way!

P.S.S. My boyfriend actually gifted me the short Hunters for Christmas couple years ago. I returned them because they hit awkwardly at my mid-calf, making me look shorter (as if that's even possible) I'm satisfied with my original tall wellies

Sam Edelman Javi

I'm not a huge fan of wooden heels/wedges, but these are an exception. They are high- 4 1/2 inches, but very comfortable like how majority of wedges are. I especially love the ankle straps.

I bought them on before they had their huge sale (unfortunately). I checked right now they're only $39.97, and you can get 15% off that price if you join their mail list! Go go go before your size runs out!!

Jessica Simpson Waleo (Cranberry)

These heels are hothotHOT! The design is rather simple, 5 inch platform heels; it is the richness in color that makes them so unique. They are pretty comfortable for 5 inch heels thanks to the platform support. I did get a few blisters the first time I wore them, but they make my legs look phenomenal so all is forgiven.

Grand total of $54.36 from

Jeffrey Campbell Miller Oxfords

I bought these on an impulse from Ebay couple months ago, but haven't worn them out yet..
I don't remember the price, I think it might've been around $60-70?
They're made of suede, and I'd say they're pretty good quality. Super excited to start wearing them during spring!

comfy, cushioned soles

Dr. Martens 1460

I purchased a pair of Dr. Martens 1460 in smooth black recently, and I absolutely love it!
The leather is a bit stiff so I advise you to wear thick socks, and maybe even wear them around the house to break them in if you plan on getting them.

Before I found these babies on, they were literally out of stock everywhere. I was going to settle for Dr. Martens 1460 from the "Worn" collection carried by UrbanOutfitters for $130...though the price hurt a bit (I actually tried on the worn-in boots at UO. It is much more comfortable than the original 1460 since the leather is softened out for you, but I much prefer the fun of breaking in your shoes) Before I almost made the purchase from UO, I discovered, and ended up buying them for $87.11!! (free shipping, no tax, just the way I like it) Even bought another one for my sister as her Christmas present :)

You were probably wondering why that walrus toy was there... well now you know!

Tra la la

My first post EVER will be my review on Keds Champion Varsity CVO

I first saw these on (I never purchased anything from that site because I usually get to the good deals too late) This particular style was sold out in my size (surprise surprise), but I still wanted them so I did my research- I ended up finding them on for $25!! No tax, free shipping!!! Now how can I pass on that deal.

Here are some pictures I took.  And let me say, they look much cuter in photos than worn.
I personally love the brown/leather looking laces, wool, and the knit around the ankle. The quality isn't bad either, compared to other pairs by Keds.

Now, here are my issues with this pair:
1. the laces are WAYYY too long. I have to double knot them for them to look somewhat decent, and the double knot gives it somewhat of a messy look which I don't like
2. the knit trimmings around the ankle make my ankles look...stubby? kinda awkward
3. these are made kind of long, making my feet look longer than they are (I wear size 6 btw)

I haven't worn them out yet so maybe my opinions will change once I actually pair them with a cute outfit or something. But then again, $25?? I can't be upset.
